Lov-a

Sulphuric, burning mongrel,

Look inside the eyes of a dead sun.

There’s no ashes there,

No escape.

Crimson

Bleeding boulder,

Find earth to amend.

Bleeding lava,

You’re bleeding lov-a,

You are bleeding love.

  1. I have liked all of your work so far but I think I like this one best in that it’s a quick, powerful read! It left me wondering what I had just read…and I had to read it again. That’s a good thing! It’s something I’ll remember!

    1. I’m so glad you think that. Because these types of poems are my favorite, they are the ones I like best when I write them compared to he others. I feel connected to something otherworldly when I do. So thanks.

        1. Ah. Amazing. Thank you. Means a ton. I write them sparsely since they don’t get the same response as others, but you just convinced me I should give them a chance. Like I said, they are my favorite thing, they feel like a purge/an expression of something primal, authentic and honest.
